We are delighted to report that now lockdown measures are easing, we have been able to re-home the dogs from foster homes in which people showed an interest before lockdown.  This leaves us with space in foster homes to accommodate dogs looking for a new home. We have had numerous enquiries about accepting dogs for re-homing during the last few weeks but sadly had to turn them away.

When we have dogs available for re-homing they will appear on the website and Facebook page as soon as they have been assessed.  Please keep an eye out and ring the number given if you think you can offer the dog a forever home.

Thank you for continuing to follow Sussex Pet Rescue and although we haven’t been re-homing for the last few weeks, we have been very busy helping applicants with veterinary costs throughout this time.

If you are in the unfortunate position of looking for a new home for your dog, please ring Jan on 01403 864742 or Helen on 01444 400371.  Thank you.

Here’s hoping that easing of the Covid advice has allowed many of our followers the chance to reunite with family and pets who have been missing each other for so long, and maybe to start thinking about summer holidays.

We’re sorry we haven’t been able to offer any dogs for re-homing for so long, however we have to take the health of our helpers and prospective new owners very seriously and we’re working on ways to begin carrying out home checks safely.

Thank you for continuing to support us during this extraordinary time, and please keep on checking our website because dogs will start appearing again soon.
