TEDDY has gone to his new home
Teddy is a Chihuahua cross Pug and is approximately two and a half to three years old. After a traumatic start to life, Teddy is really flourishing in our foster home. He has learned to become a dog! He is excellent walking on his harness and lead and loves long walks and the chance to get outside and explore and use up some of his boundless energy. He has learned to be sociable with other dogs and enjoys a game of chase.
Teddy is currently living in a foster home alongside a female terrier and he has really benefitted from the companionship of another dog. He loves to play with his toys & balls, and likes nothing better than to snooze on your lap. Teddy has been attending obedience training classes while he has been in our foster home and has made outstanding progress, even being awarded a rosette for his advanced obedience skills and he has really enjoyed learning as he is a clever, bright boy.
Teddy will need to continue with his training classes for a while, this will help his new owners understand how to handle him and help him continue to build his confidence, Sussex Pet Rescue will cover the cost of his training classes. Teddy can be shy when meeting new people but given time, his confidence soon comes through. He is very good with cats, horses, sheep and cows when out walking, he travels well in the car and can be left for short periods of time.
Teddy has been fully vaccinated, neutered, micro chipped and is house trained. Teddy deserves a really special home, with new owners who have plenty of time and understanding for him.
